Marc Jacobs was born in New York and became a design student after graduating high school. He then received one of the highest honors which includes design student of the year. Later he designed his first Marc Jacobs fashion label collection. The following year he received the distinct honor of being the youngest designer ever to be awarded the fashion industry’s highest tribute: The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent.
Marc Jacobs later joined Louis Vuitton as the Creative Director and continues the role today.
